KERCHEVAL STORM SEWER IMPROVEMENTS

KERCHEVAL/CADIUEX AND KERCHEVAL/NOTRE DAME STORM SEWER IMPROVEMENTS

CONSTRUCTION UPDATE

During the week of May 13, the contractor was able to complete all of the storm sewer work on Notre Dame south of Kercheval.

During the week of May 20, the contractor will be working on the permanent pavement replacement at Kercheval and Cadieux and on Notre Dame south of Kercheval. There anticipated schedule, weather depending, is as follows:

May 20 - 21 – Excavate and place stone base
May 22 - 23 – Pour concrete curbs, sidewalk ramps, cross walks and curbing between lot 6 and adjacent lot
May 24 - 28 – Cure concrete
May 29 – Place new asphalt in the street and open to traffic

Notre Dame will continue to be closed between Kercheval and Kercheval Place until the new pavement has cured and we are able to open the street to traffic.

Once the phase 1 work is completed and roads opened back up to traffic, the contractor will start the phase 2 work which includes repairs to the catch basins and storm sewers on Notre Dame just north of Kercheval. During this work, Notre Dame will be closed between Kercheval and the Kroger Alley. Delivery trucks in the Kroger Alley will be detoured down the alley to St. Clair. Work at this location is anticipated to take 3 weeks weather depending.
