Budget Process Overview
In January and February of each year, department heads compile budget worksheets for matierals and services for their respective departments. The Finance Director and City Manager meet with each department head to discuss budget requirements and formulate a draft for submission to the Finance Committee. At the end of March, the Finance Committee reviews the proposed budget and make its recommendation. The Finance Director submits a draft of the budget to the City Council in April.
The Public Hearing on the proposed 2017-2018 Budget will be held on May 8, 2017 at 7:00 pm.
The Budget and tax rate adoption will take place at the Council meeting held on May 15, 2017 at 7:00 pm.
